We believe in providing the community with products that are not just high quality but flavourful. We were once told by a grower that food quality is not solely defined by the type of crop you plant but in the Farmers’ agricultural processes, from what kind of soil is used, to what they fertilize with, to how they pick and harvest their crops. This is something the Priority Health and Premium Choice team strongly believe.
Our unique buying, storing and packing processes guarantees a fresher product being delivered to our consumers to enjoy and entertain. We have built long standing relationships with our Australian and International farmers, growers and suppliers who assist us in ensuring we always supply only the finest ingredients and snacks in our red bags.

Our team at Priority Health, (the South Australian manufacturing and wholesale distribution business behind the Premium Choice brand) pride ourselves on our commitment to quality products and food safety. HACCP regulated systems underpins all of our operations and we are also certified to the strict international and Australian food safety standards.

History
In 1983 two partners saw an opportunity to distribute no added sugar carob coated banana, manufactured at Coffs Harbour in NSW, to the health food market in South Australia. Over the next two years the range was expanded to include other carob and yoghurt coated dried fruits and nuts. Many of these products were suitable for diabetics. A manufacturer was later found to produce the products in Adelaide, South Australia. The private company “Priority Health Pty Ltd” was formed in December 1985.
Today
Today the Premium Choice brand is locally packed and manufactured in our South Australian head office Priority Health at Croydon Park.
Priority Health, is a privately owned Australian company and has a range of over 2000 products and employs approximately 30 staff. Priority Health has developed into a leading supplier of premium quality health foods, nuts, dried fruit and snack foods to the South Australian market.
We pride ourselves on the standard of the “Premium Choice” range. Our manufacturing and distribution facility is located at Croydon Park, Adelaide, South Australia. This modern purpose built temperature controlled facility helps ensure products are delivered as fresh as possible in a timely manner.
Priority Health is HACCP accredited and a Quality Endorsed company under ISO 9001:2008 certification which assures customers that our quality management systems are of an exceptional standard and are continually updated.
